Totally PT

Personal 1:1 training is a passion of Totally Mama director Cat Doyle. It is so important to take some time for yourself and really enjoy having a tailored session focussing on YOU and your specific needs or goals. Cat specialises in advanced post-natal training as well as guiding and training women through the hormonal maze of the menopause. She coaches runners and triathletes at every stage, from 5km ‘I just want to start’ runners all the way up to Marathon ‘lets do this’ runners! As a coach Cat has a wealth of knowledge and experience to help train, advise and support you to get to that start line!

Sessions can take place in her private studio in Lower Kingswood, in a local park, or even your own home.

If you would like any more information on personal training sessions, please don’t hesitate to email cat@totallymama.co.uk.

Meet the trainer!

Exercise is me! On both a mental and physical level I LOVE training! At age 9 I started running for my county and haven’t looked back. Even though my training has taken a few different paths I have always loved the commitment and passion that exercise can bring. I taught kickboxing classes for years and nearly 10 years ago decided to increase my knowledge and re-train as an Advanced Personal Trainer, specialising in rehabilitation, specifically post-natal, and more recently coaching women through the menopause with fitness. Having three young, amazing children and also recently reaching the peri-menopause phase in my life has really opened my eyes to the challenges we face; so I am passionate about using fitness and exercise to help women combat these chapters in our lives and feel strong again.

My specialist training areas are not only pre and post-natal exercise, I am a running coach, specifically for 5k,10k and long distance. Over the last 24 years I have completed many marathons (PB: 3:14.57), including New York, and regularly run competitive half marathons (PB: 1:28.58), 10kms (PB: 38.54), 5kms (PB: 17.26) distances, plus Sprint, Olympic and half ironman distance Triathlons in the UK and abroad.

I have also competed in semi-professional Kick and Thai boxing fights throughout the UK and internationally, and still love training with fighters in preparation for their competitions.

My proudest moments came in 2017, 2018 and 2019 when I qualified to represent GB in my age group for Sprint Triathlon, and in 2017 I came 17th in my group the World Championships in Rotterdam!

I love getting rid of stress through both training and boxing (which, let’s face it, everyone needs to do from time to time!) and escaping for long early morning runs with my gorgeous, slightly crazy, dog! My next goal is focusing towards a full ironman in 2023! Bring it on!
